3 Fish Studios
Married artists Annie Galvin and Eric Rewitzer started 3 Fish Studios in January 2007 because they wanted to create a space where they could make art, hang out, listen to music, and share their joy of the creative life with friends.
They constantly paint and make prints in a sunny studio in San Francisco. Current favorite motifs are robots and Obama (Eric) and girls, bears, and Mexican wrestlers (Annie).
Eric and Annie are strong believers in the collaborative process of creating and sharing art, and they like to be surrounded by the vibrancy of creative people exchanging ideas. With 3 Fish Studios they get to indulge their passion for art - and share it too. |

A Verb for Keeping Warm
Kristine's quest to spend as much time possible with color, texture, and warmth spurred the creation of A Verb for Keeping Warm. Through the combination of natural dyes and a large sampling of fibers, she creates a colorful variety of spinning / felting fiber and yarn (sometimes handspun). Fibers she offers include camel, silk, cashmere, angora, blue-faced leicester wool, organic merino wool, organic cotton, and more. One of Kristine's favorite things about creating and selling raw materials is that, although for her it is a finished object, for you the creative process has only just begun... |

AC Clothing and Bags by Amy Cools
My name is Amy Cools, and I've been creating & selling my original line, AC Clothing and Bags, for over ten years, and sewing for as long as I can remember. My designs are created for my fellow adventurous, sparky women, those whose idea of a perfect dress is one in which you can turn heads at the party and then go out & play a midnight game of football in! All my designs are meticulously, strongly constructed (I'm a stickler for quality) and feature vintage & contemporary fabrics, details, buttons, & trims, combined in fresh & unexpected ways. I'm also a strong believer in looking out for one another: every single design is sweatshop-free & eco-friendly. Wear in happiness & good health! |

Augusto Lorenzo
Augusto Lorenzo was inspired by friends who drew cartoon characters and spaceships in the Fifth Grade. As he grew older he also found that he loved to fix things like his dad, and to make things for himself and his friends. At some point, it became a necessity to learn how to sew to be able to dress like a rebel starfighter. This was accomplished through the aide of his kind mother. It seemed the natural progression was to translate his love of character design into a soft sculpture that was given to his sister for her Ninth Birthday. This special gift led to ideas for other characters, which Augusto hopes will make the world a less lonely, and more fun place to live in.

Green Bagging It and The Way We Wear
Green Bagging It Bio:
I, like many people, had a stash of old plastic and paper grocery bags: an endless supply that grew with each shopping trip. Frustrated with the situation-and with me and my family's desire to live a green lifestyle - I adopted use of reusable shopping bags sold at my neighborhood grocery store. However, After a few trips I noticed that the majority of other shoppers were not using the reusable bags. I thought maybe it was the way the bags looked and were constructed that was the problem; maybe the idea isn't catching on because the bags just don't seem to grab people's attention. I looked at my ordinary and somewhat tacky looking bag and thought; "Do I really have to sacrifice style to be green?"
I created a few bags out of some chic, home décor fabrics and began using them and giving them to friends and family whom also wanted to be a little greener I shortly began to get a response and many compliments with inquiries on where to buy them. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that people were interested in my bags considering what a crazy notion it seemed. I wanted to continue to encourage the reusable bag idea, so I set out to make my bags as 'eco-chic' and functional as possible. With much encouragement from my husband and family I began to make more bags, experimenting with different fabrics, new designs and testing their durability. |

Thus began the love affair between a girl and her handy-craft. Sarah later found her fondness for design and printmaking while pursuing her degree at UC Berkeley, and in 2007, she decided to combine her love of cardmaking with her affinity for printmaking to found Hearts & Anchors. Recover Your Thoughts
Doug MacNeil rescues the library's abandoned hardbacks and selects those that have appealing covers, transforming them into a fascinating and functional product. He also has discovered mounds of very usable paper in the recycling bins of printing shops. Unbelievable as it is, other then the sturdy wire binding, everything in these distinctive journals is created from junk, rubbish and rejects. |

ReMade
ReMade was born out of Rebecca's unique creative sense for giving new life to old products. It started with simple skirts repurposed from vintage pillowcases made as gifts for friends. The idea now extends to dresses, headwear, and a variety of accessories sold for men and women. Inspired by her love for summer and from living near the beaches of Dana Point, Rebecca's skirts and dresses are particularly delightful for warm weather fun. Getting a little cold? Throw on a 100% wool beanie recycled from delightful and soft sweaters. Each ReMade item is completely unique... there are no two ReMade creations that are exactly alike. Our original designs, ecological sustainability and handcrafted creativity are just a few of the factors that make each ReMade item a beautiful work of art! |

I am a new Mom of a 6 1/2 month old little girl and now a stay-at-home-mom, directing most of my free time to my crafts on Etsy and at craft shows. I've always been creative and love to come up with inventive and innovative ideas that make fun items. My mind is always racing with ideas;so much that I cannot seem to get enough produced and that I have to keep a craft journal until I do have the time. Since becoming a new Mom, I have just recently opened up a second shop (www.lovemedo.etsy.com), which has inventive baby and mom items, and helps make raising babies a bit easier for new Moms. Someday I hope to open up a small brick & mortar shop of my own that helps other DIY designers sell and promote their products, but until then, it is all about my online Etsy shops.:o) Jeyn

Shipwreck
Shipwreck proprietor, Marcy Bruce, has been designing and sewing garments and accessories for the past 10 years. Her line of vintage inspired clothing, Mae Henry, has been gaining momentum through ETSY for the past year, yet most of her work is sold directly to consumers face to face in her small retail shop, Shipwreck, where she designs and sews each piece. Her shop features goods from 10-15 local designers and crafters alongside vintage treasures- clothing, furniture, jewelry and chandeliers. Marcy has spent the past five years working on organic farms in Northern California selling produce at farmer's markets. She has since decided to shift focus and pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a designer, shopkeeper and florist all in one! Her experience as a farmer has allowed her to understand the importance of selling to the public directly which has confirmed her belief that consumers are seeking more of a connection with the goods they purchase. Her goal is to further educate consumers whether the issue concerns supporting cottage industries or local farmers. |
