Q: How do I become a vendor at the next Bazaar Bizarre or Union Made event?

A: The first step is to apply! The best way to be notified when applications are open for our next event is to make sure you’re on our mailing list. You can sign up for our mailing list here: http://bazaarbizarre.org/boston/contact/

Q: When do applications open for your events and where do I apply?

A: Applications usually open in August for our winter fair and in April for our summer fair. The application will be posted right here on our site.

Q: How much does it cost to participate in one of your events?

A: Application and booth/table fees vary from year to year and from fair to fair. In 2012, our fees were as follows:

  • Winter Fair Application Fee: $15
  • Winter Fair Booth Fee (10′ x 10′ space): $400
  • Winter Fair Table Fee (6′ table): $200
  • Summer Fair Application Fee: $10
  • Summer Fair Booth Fee (10′ x 10′ space): $100
  • Summer Fair Table Fee (6′ table): $50

Q: Can I apply to share a space with a friend?

A: Absolutely!

Each vendor may only apply for one spot, but this spot can be shared. If you are applying to share a table/booth with a friend, submit TWO applications and make it clear on BOTH apps who each vendor plans to share with. Both names must be included on both applications to be judged for participation. Please enter your information in the designated application fields and enter the second vendor’s name/business name in the comments field.

Please note that you cannot share a table/booth with anyone who has not been included on your application. Doing so will result in forfeiture of your space and vendor fee and you will be banned from participating in future Bazaar Bizarre events.
