So, for the past couple years, Union Made has been your Union Square event for art, crafts, activities and music. This year will be no different except it will be, our bands will be rocking out UNPLUGGED. Not just with acoustic instruments but with no amps or speakers at all!
We are going to introduce you to our old fashioned analog line-up one at a time. Our first act to be profiled: OLD HAT.
Old Hat is local, calling Brighton their homebase. They describe themselves at “Fast, stripped down roots music with elements of punk, bluegrass and folk with a little chooglin’ thrown in to even things out.” I don’t know what a chooglin is but their stuff is great – kinda olde timey, completely rumpus-worthy.
You may have seen some of the members in other loud, fun, folky punk bands such as Yankee Blue Jeans and Wicked Whiskey. That’s right, these are real-life rock legends, friends.
Old Hat goes on at 3pm and it’s gonna be awesome.
