Maya Avni is a Somerville-based jewelry designer who creates elegant, intriguing forms from silver.
Working in Sterling Silver and Oxidized Sterling, Maya creates pieces that are as appropriate for special occasions as they are for everyday wear. The simple beauty of the silver forms would work as well with a little black dress as they would with a tank top and jeans. They could be worn by moms and aunts, and even by your little cousin who just graduated from high school. Even though the forms are new, they have a classic feel.
