So let’s just talk about Argyle Whale for a quick minute. Elise Towle Snow is the brain and hands behind Argyle Whale; petting bunnies, designing and printing illustrations in her quest to make cool art to share with you.
Elise’s prints are sweet and simple images printed by hand in small editions on her gocco. Kitties cuddling in a bag not cute enough for you? Well, then take a look in the Argyle Whale shop at this lemming card.
It seems as though Elise has truly thought of everything adorable at least once. If the literal and mental image of fuzzy little lemmings running around in circles isn’t enough for you to just pass out from the thought, perhaps you should hear Elise’s take on the situation:
Numerous tiny lemmings follow each other in a figure eight. I made this drawing so they could continue following and grazing forever without falling off any cliffs.
Hahahahahahaha! Elise was a vendor at the BBB, and last December when she didn’t vend at the winter event, she showed up with her husband Justin and helped us all damn day. This is the kind of thing that a woman concerned about the welfare of cartoon lemmings does for strangers.
