Our Peanut Butter Solution to Getting Crafty

May 21st 2011 at Mass Market!

The Small Craft Advisory wants to make you a sandwich. Would you like a cup of coffee with that?

The Small Craft Advisory is a group of crafters who have been organizing the Boston Bazaar Bizarre since 2008. The BBB was handed down from the legendary originators of Boston’s indie craft scene, and the SCA has been in love with setting up events for the craft community ever since. Last year, the SCA launched Union Made, an annual summer fair in Somerville Mass, and in 2011, we are proud to add a whole new fair that is still in the works. We are proud to present 3 different fairs and have inaugurated the Small Craft Advisory as a proper legal LLC in order to be above board with all the financial bits. Even though we will be organizing fairs as a business now, we will still be functioning as a non-profit, where the members work as unpaid volunteers. We don’t run craft fairs to make money, we do it because we love crafts and crafters.

This is where the peanut butter sandwiches come in. We also love sandwiches. This is how we make you a sandwichWe are in fundraising mode to get our papers in order, and our friends at Mass Market are helping us by letting us set up a snack booth! Mass Market is awesome like that, and you will find the Small Craft Advisory armed with butter knives and PB jars, ready to make your order. We will be selling peanut butter themed sandwiches, and drinks from 11am-5pm in the Mass Art Gym at 621 Huntington Avenue on May 21st 2011. So if you are chock full of crafts, but low on energy, stop by our table to craft the best sandwich from our long list of jams, spreads, fruits and toppings, with a hot cup of coffee, tea or water to wash it down.
